Client starts at the legalatoms.com/domestic-violence page

When the client clicks Start, client lands on the Diagnostics questionnaires

Client proceed ahead to complete the Diagnostic

Client sees outcome of the Diagnostic and some resource such as pro bono lawyers

Client lands on the next tab which lists all the questionnaires the client needs to fill

Firearms and children’s questionnaires are added depending on the the client’s responses

Client starts with the Respondent questionnaire

When the client clicks “Submit” the questionnaire status changes to “Complete” . Client proceed on wit the next questionnaire “About You”

Client completes “About You”

Client completes Protection Order. The last item is to do the signature

When the client clicks submit, the client is led to the “Documents” tab. Client sees a spinner (a small circle that spins on the “Generate Documents” button) and a message that documents are in being generated

When the document generation completes in about 1 minute, the screen updates automatically

The next tab is E-File

E-File Temporarily Disabled so the client see this message

We are working on enabling E-filing. This is the upcoming E-Filing Experience which consists of 4 steps

Step 1 provides an overview of E-filing

Step 2: The next screen has a button to run automated checks. This runs a test to ensure important field such as names, statements, protections etc are all answered

Step 2a: The test results are shown. Questions which are not answered are listed along with a button to jump to the correct questionnaire

Step 2b: When the client clicks “Fix it” the client lands on the correct questionnaire. They may still need to scroll to the exact question. The question is underlined in red

Step 2: Once the client has addressed all issues, the client would return to re-rerun the automated checks

The results would clearly indicate that all checks have passed

In case the the following conditions are true the client would see an additional warning

  • Client had shared the application with Protection Order Advocate or a lawyer
  • Within LegalAtoms.com, the advocate had updated the settings for this specific client to display a warning before E-file
