Filing Fees and Waivers

Antiharassment orders have a filing fee of $83
The filing fee is to be paid to the court directly after you file with the court. You are most welcome to complete the paper work here for free and learn about the process. The fee must be paid prior to your first scheduled hearing. Additional fees may be applied by law enforcement for service of court document on the respondent.

- “Advocacy” means that the client meets with an advocate in an individual session on an on-going basis where the primary focus is the client's safety and developing tools for empowerment and autonomy.
- Advocates provide support and education about issues of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Advocates also work with clients to identify their needs and provide them with information about and referrals to local service agencies, court and social service agencies.
Does not include: Advocacy is NOT therapy; referrals to therapy services may be available to domestic and sexual assault survivors.
