How a professional can Replace documents via Upload a replacement document
LegalAtoms allows significant benefits to professionals (clerk, judge, and sheriff) to replace documents with LegalAtoms regular documents via Upload a replacement document. Judges have access to the most current and accurate documents, reducing the risk of basing decisions on outdated or incorrect information.
Replacing outdated documents with updated versions ensures that the case records are clear and concise, facilitating a better understanding of the facts and arguments presented. Follow these steps to replace a document
Step 1: Login to LegalAtoms
Navigate to https://app.legalatoms.com/
You will see the login screen where you can enter your credentials and hit login to access your account.
Step 2: Navigate to the Case Info Page
From your dashboard, locate and select the specific case where you need to upload the document. This will open the case info page.
Step 3: Navigate to the Section
Navigate to the section where you need to replace a document. E.g. The Judge wants to replace the document in the Temporary order section, he needs to navigate to the Temporary order section.
Step 4: Replace the new document
The professional can replace both Word and PDF format document
- Click on the Upload a replacement document icon.
- Choose the file from your computer.
- Confirm and upload the file.
- Once the upload is complete, verify that the new document appears in the Documents section.
- Ensure the document is correct and has been successfully replaced.
- Note, that the uploaded document will be deleted when the professional generates the document
- The replaced document will also be visible in the next Hearing and the Law Enforcement packet section
