Professionals vs. Public

LegalAtoms was designed as a platform where the office of the clerk, along with other professionals in the legal spaces come together and offer public legal and related services.

The clerks, judges, lawyer, nonprofits, interpreters are therefore specializations of the professional account.

The client is used by the public.

Features of Professional Accounts

A professional account always has a profile that captures name, contact information, and more importantly what services are offered.

Plan

A professional profile can have zero or more plans. A plan describes a specific service that the professional offers. For example if a clerk’s office offers E-filing for Small Claims case then that would be a plan.

Dashboard

A dashboard provides a listing of cases that a professional has access to, and then there will be select items that there are pending action items for that professional.
